Welcome back! This week we are continuing at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and heading over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village. This post is going to be much shorter than the Jambo House post as Kidani Village has 458 rooms, compared to the 972 rooms at Jambo House. With this post being shorter, I would recommend you also read my new About Me page to learn more about the author, the Hidden Mickey challenge I have taken upon myself, and why I love Hidden Mickeys.
Main Lobby

When I entered the Main Lobby, I found two Hidden Mickeys. The lobby of Kidani Village is less grand than Jambo House, but just as magnificent. The first Hidden Mickey can be found on the themed clock between the six and seven. The second Hidden Mickey in the lobby, while considered A Real Tuffy, I did not find that difficult to locate. On one of the African themed chandeliers located closest to the registration desk, there is an image that resembles a ladybug whose head appears as a Hidden Mickey.
Sanaa
After passing through the lobby (this is also where I discovered that my Zebra Domes had leaked inside my bag) I went downstairs to the table service restaurant at Kidani Village, Sanaa. Though I have not eaten at Sanaa, I have heard wonderful reviews about the bread service there. As a local, I will at some point try the Sanaa To Go option they have added because of COVID. At the check-in counter, I found the first Hidden Mickey formed by three hanging baskets. The next two Hidden Mickeys are located inside of the restaurant. While potentially problematic, I spoke with the Cast Members at the front desk, explained that I was looking for Hidden Mickeys. The first Hidden Mickey located inside the restaurant is above a seating area. The Cast Members asked if I would wait until the party at the table was finished which I was happy to do. Similar to the one behind the check-in counter, this Hidden Mickey is also formed by a basket, but the ears are instead comprised of wooden spoons. The final Hidden Mickey at Sanaa can be found on the tabletops.
Viewing Area

After checking out the viewing area to see the animals, the last Hidden Mickey at Kidani Village can be found in the rockwork as you walk back inside.
Toni’s Favorite Hidden Mickey
This concludes the Hidden Mickeys of the Animal Kingdom Lodge, both Jambo House and Kidani Village. I would enjoy the opportunity to stay at this beautiful resort one day and watch the animals on the savannah. My favorite Hidden Mickey at Kidani Village would be the baskets at the entrance of Sanaa. All of the baskets at the check-in counter are very detailed and each one feels unique. This décor I find to be very eye catching and it is an excellent example of how you can bring Hidden Mickeys into your own home.
Thank you for joining me, I will see you next week. Any requests on Disney resorts or areas of the theme parks you would like me to cover next, please leave in the comments.

Congratulations on this venture Toni! Recently we stayed at Yacht Club Resort and I always enjoy finding the Hidden Mickeys that are inevitably found in the patterned rugs of the hallways. But I couldn’t find any there! Please visit Yacht Club soon and let me know what you see.
